South Perrott is a conservation village near Beaminster in West Dorset, close to the Somerset border. It is 10 miles from the Jurassic Coast at West Bay and 17 miles from the county town of Dorchester. The River Parrett rises just above the village and flows through its centre and then northwards across the Somerset Levels to the Bristol Channel.

The Village Hall was opened in 1979 and has been regularly updated since then. It is ideal for a variety of functions. Regular activities include short Mat bowls, Tai Chi, yoga and Steel Drums, and a range of village events such as plays, jumble sales, suppers, flower and produce shows, to name but a few.
